No one industry is favored over another, and experience in a Fortune 500 company does not have higher value than experience in a small business or public institution.
Do all Upenn applicants get interviews?
Typically, more than 90% of applicants are offered an interview, depending on volunteer availability. Our interviewers aren’t admissions officers, but they are excited to learn more about you and to share their Penn experiences. All interviews will be offered virtually for the 2020-2021 application process.
Is Upenn better than Harvard?
Penn has a better social life than Harvard. Harvard is of course more prestigious than Penn. But both schools are top notch. It won’t make a practical difference in your career or academic opportunities either way.
Can I get into Wharton without work experience?
