Buckingham Road, Moxon Architects

A few recent images taken on a wonderful spring day recently for Moxon Architects. The project is an interesting new addition to an existing property in the De Beauvoir Conservation Area. The series of forms and spaces created through a relatively small area have worked really well and the ability to completely open up the kitchen on two sides is incredibly successful. Unfortunately no puppy to play with this time but a very interesting client to chat to instead whilst waiting for dusk.

Next up in the series is a friend and former colleague, Richard Keep, who has recently set up his own firm. Such a nice space to work in with plenty of natural light. Would be great work in somewhere with so much layout space.

Basingstoke College of Technology – Design ACB

Although I’ve somewhat neglected to update this blog recently, I’ve finally got a few moments to show one of the recent projects I shot, this time for Moxon Architects. A small but perfectly formed project altering the rear of an existing property in South West London. Fantastic to meet the very happy client and also spend a whole day playing with Bella the one year old puppy who seemed to enjoy just running around the tripod.

AJ Cover – Jan 19th 2012

Absolutely thrilled to have bagged a cover image on this weeks AJ as well as two decent sized shots on a double spread inside*. I’m not the only one as there are 12 different covers going out with half the shortlisted entries (the rest next week). The project is the fantastic Jewel Box by Fraher Architects which is great news as it’s one of their first completed projects. Fingers crossed they win!

*The credit was given to someone else which is a real shame and a bit of a missed PR opportunity but never mind.

Smith House – John Pardey Architects

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a completed project, The Smith House, for John Pardey Architects near Christchurch. We were blessed with incredible light for most of the day along with a beautiful clear sky for the dusk shot. Here’s a few of my favourite shots from the day which also appear on their Flickr stream.
